Welcome to Grace Anglican Church of Wildwood, or "Grace" for short! Planted in 2015, Grace is a parish of the United Episcopal Church of North America (UECNA). We are a congregation devoted to the worship of the Triune God—in spirit, truth, and the beauty of holiness—and also devoted to loving our neighbors as ourselves. We're a God-fearing, Christ-following, Spirit-led, Bible-Believing, Gospel-Preaching, Truth-Defending, and Tradition-Keeping Community. Please explore our website to learn more about who we are and what we're all about!
Sunday Services begin at 10AM, with fellowship and refreshments to follow.
Plan a Visit if you'd like to meet or talk with our pastor.
The Anglican Church is the branch of the Protestant Reformation that developed in England, which is synonymous with the tradition of the Church of England. Anglican simply means "English" (Anglo-, pertaining to English). We use the Book of Common Prayer (1928 edition) as our received form of worship, and our doctrine is bound according to the 39 Articles of Religion. The Articles of Religion elaborate those doctrinal commitments that we have always held to be the essential deposit of the Apostolic Faith—while granting for an hospitable range of personal convictions. The Book of Common Prayer, on the other hand, shapes our worship after the patterns and practices we've received from the Church's ancient patrimony.

Our Rector (Senior Pastor) planted grace with his wife Penny (left) and our founding members back at the beginning of 2015. Originally from London, Ontario, he spent much of his career as a vice-president of human resources for an international IT company. He is a lifelong Anglican, and during his retirement in The Villages he perceived the need for more Anglican churches in central Florida. He subsequently received a call to holy orders and was ordained to the priesthood in 2015—just as Grace was getting started. Wayne and Penny, along with our founding members (like Dana Saura, pictured right), have faithfully and sacrificially stewarded the vision for Grace ever since. Wayne is beloved for his practical wisdom, patience, faithfulness, integrity, and pastoral care.
You will regularly see him throughout the week conducting maintenance of the church grounds (he's a gifted multi-disciplinary handy man). He enjoys golfing, road-tripping, and mentoring the younger generations. His dream is to see Grace grow into a robust church which blesses our local community and passes on our traditional Christianity—in morals, doctrine, and worship—to the future generations.
Located on the boarder between The Villages and Wildwood, GAC is off of CR-462, on "Church Row" between CR-466A and Hwy 301. If you are coming from CR-466A, we are on the left just after you pass the St. Vincent de Paul Roman Church. If you are coming from Hwy 301, we are on the right just after curve once you pass Rock of Ages Lutheran Church.
Our Chapel is small—seating approximately 50 people—but we are situated on roughly 2.5 acres of land, so there is plenty of parking space. There are entrances in the front and the rear, both of which you are welcome to use. We have a handicap parking area with entry ramp, and two family-friendly restrooms inside—one of which is handicap accessible.
